I’ve wanted to learn Chinese calligraphy for a long time, and I finally got the chance to start.
Honestly, I used to feel a bit shy about posting this here—I didn’t feel confident enough.

But this time, I decided to just share it anyway.
I know there’s still a lot, a lot of room to improve, and I’m very much a beginner.
Still, I want to appreciate myself a little—for starting, and for not giving up.

With the Chinese New Year getting closer, practicing on red paper somehow makes the days feel more festive.
Ink, paper, slowing down for a moment… it feels warm and quiet in a good way.

书法还在练，心先慢下来。
Calligraphy is still a work in progress; I let my heart slow down first.
新手，但不停笔。
A beginner, but I won’t stop writing.
