This Was One of My First Hanfu
This was one of my first Hanfu…
It’s not historically accurate or from a specific dynasty—
But back then, I just loved how different it looked.
It felt elegant, soft, a little dreamy.
Like something out of a fantasy.
But wearing it made me start asking questions:
What did people in ancient China really wear?
Why were their clothes shaped that way?
What did it mean to them?
What started as “just pretty” slowly became something more.
Yes, this isn’t a perfect replica.
But it’s where my curiosity began.
I’m now curious about the stories behind it—
The history, the meanings, the way people lived back then.
