It’s hard to believe how quickly the days have passed since the first day of the Chinese New Year (初一 ; chū yī). Yet the Chinese New Year still lingers — in the sound of firecrackers, in the familiar songs, and in the festive atmosphere that hasn’t fully faded.

So I went back through my gallery and chose a few photos to share here. There were actually so many, but somehow these five felt right. Small moments, ordinary scenes — but they carry the feeling of this season in their own way.
