This piece of jewelry is also known by several other names, such as Tiaotuo (\u8df3\u8131 ; ti\u00e0o tu\u014d), Tiaotuo (\u6761\u8131 ; ti\u00e1o tu\u014d), or Chan Bi Jin (\u7f20\u81c2\u91d1 ; ch\u00e1n b\u00ec j\u012bn).<\/p>\n

Chan Chuan is usually made of gold or silver rods shaped into a spiral, resembling a spring. The number of coils can vary; some have only two turns, while others consist of many coils. At the ends, the bracelet is wrapped with thick thread as a fastening lock that can be moved left or right to adjust the tightness.<\/p>\n
