1. Pipa Sleeve (\u7435\u7436\u8896 ; p\u00ed p\u00e1 xi\u00f9)<\/h4>\n

Pipa sleeves are a type of sleeve often seen in Ming dynasty Hanfu.<\/p>\n

\"Zhang<\/a><\/p>\n

Named the pipa sleeve because the arm has a wide part, a small cuff, and a narrow armpit, shaped like a pipa.<\/p>\n

2. Large Sleeve (\u5927\u8896 ; d\u00e0 xi\u00f9)<\/h4>\n

The sleeves are (very) large, usually used in formal clothes.<\/p>\n

3. Chuihu Sleeve (\u5782\u80e1\u8896 ; chu\u00ed h\u00fa xi\u00f9)<\/h4>\n

Chuihu sleeves are similar to large sleeves, but chuihu sleeves have narrower cuffs.<\/p>\n

The chuihu sleeves collar is often seen in Quju (\u66f2\u88fe).<\/p>\n

4. Narrow Sleeve (\u7a84\u8896 ; zh\u01cei xi\u00f9) \/ Arrow Sleeve (\u7bad\u8896 ; ji\u00e0n xi\u00f9)<\/h4>\n

These sleeves come from northern ethnic costumes.<\/p>\n

The arrow sleeve is comfortable to ride, shoot and work.<\/p>\n

In addition, because the cuffs are narrow, they can keep warm.<\/p>\n

Therefore, after thousands of years, from military uniforms, official uniforms to common people\u2019s clothes, the arrow sleeve became widespread and became a kind of Hanfu sleeve system.<\/p>\n
