Fujin (幅巾 ; fú jīn), refers to a whole silk scarf used to tie the head.
After the Song dynasty, Shenyi and Fujin were worn by scholar-bureaucrats as formal attire for family affairs, sacrifices, banquets, and social events.
Based on the Fujin, Futou evolved.
In the Ming dynasty, Fujin was mostly worn by scholars, and the overall shape and individual details were also different.
In the Ming dynasty, the term “Fujin and Shenyi” came into being.
Korean Fujin were mainly formed under the influence of the Ming dynasty.
